Quiz night kicked off at Lizard Lounge this past Sunday at 7:30pm sharp, with Quizmaster Sam and trainee Quizmaster Danny co-hosting the evening together!
And it seemed after the Internet went crazy for that dress earlier in the week, it had some of our quiz teams debating about it's colours too. Oh and by the way, after extensive tests were performed at Quizmaster HQ in the United States, it has been shown that the dress is in fact blue and black!
It was The Blues brothers or... the gold brothers who took our best team name prize this week, with a £10 voucher for their win.
Elsewhere, DAJERS finished up with 27 points as a trio, although only two featured in our quiz pic!
A sudden death arose when two teams locked horns for first place, prompting the following question to decide our champions: The longest underground subway network in the world, how many miles long is the track on the Shanghai Metro?
Fact Hunts: 250
White & Gold #The Dress: 2400
The correct answer was 341, leading to Fact Hunts victory! They claimed a £30 voucher AND a couple of cocktails winning our spot prizes on the evening...
Elsewhere on the night, Quizmaster Sam got a surprise when a premature happy birthday burst out in song from the bar, presenting him with this banging cake. Yep.
Sam turned 47 on Monday, looking good right?
Anyway, second place winners after a hot sudden death White & Gold #TheDress came so close to winning but unfortunately lost out in the end. They won a £20 voucher nonetheless.
