Full house at Lizard Lounge!

A full house of quiz patrons greeted us at Lizard Lounge this Sunday, with nine teams of nearly 40 players gathering at the South Woodford bar & restaurant...

And it was double trouble this Sunday evening, as Quizmaster Sam introduced Quizmistress Tina to the crowd as a host!

We saw some newcomers, with Jon + Darren are the winners showing us that they haven't quite finished their formula to predict the future as they unfortunately finished up in sixth. Good effort for a duo though!

TEN time winners Fact Hunts failed to put together the numbers for a winning score this past Sunday, as 37 points saw them just miss out on a winning place. Failure is not an option for this hardcore quiz team, so it was time to go home and cry. Sorry lads! It was that bloody dog question!

Elsewhere, we saw Sky sky sky! finish in fifth place, acquiring 29 points as a dynamic duo!

It was the controversial (but hilarious) I wish this microphone was a giant horse cock! that took our best team name prize this week. The quiz regulars won a £10 voucher.

We also saw One smart bloke and a couple of retards take part in our quiz, finished in seventh with 22 points.

Mr. Competitive & Friends did enough to collect 38 points for the game, winning them a £20 voucher!

Newcomers The Japanese Slippers took our quiz by storm as they won with a massive 41 points!

January drinking at Lizard Lounge...

This week at Lizard Lounge in South Woodford, Quizmaster kicked off the new year with another instalment of pub quiz in East London!

With much of the world celebrating Christmas and New Year the previous week, it seemed most people were out of pocket as two teams greeted us for our quiz this week. 

An intimate setting meant even more attention to detail on delicious cocktails, as Lizard Lounge's bartenders showed us their 'tending tekkers.

Winners this week Gobi Desert White Water Rafting Team won a £30 voucher with a score of 41 points!

It was quiz regulars January Ginners (who have a healthy obsession with Gin) who finished as runners up, with 34 points rewarding them with a £20 voucher (which was probably spent on Gin.)

Quiz night reloads next Sunday at 7:30!

Ending the year with a bang!

Our final quiz of the year took place this past Sunday at Lizard Lounge, as 'A Quiz about... 2014' got underway in South Woodford at 7:30!

And as 7:30 rolled around, teams entered the building to compete for prizes on what would be our last quiz of 2014...

With Lizard Lounge offering up some great prizes for their patrons.

It was 60/40 who took our best team name prize this week, winning a £30 voucher.

Runners up Pieces of eight (plus one) bended the rules for the evening, as their nine players racked up 37 points to win a £20 voucher.

But it was the quiz duo of I'm not gay my boyfriend is who won 1st place, with 42 points seeing them take home a £30 voucher!

We're back next Sunday, 4th January 2015 at 7:30pm!

Merry Quizmas at Lizard Lounge!

This past Sunday at Lizard Lounge featured our big Christmas pub quiz, kicking off at 7:30pm in South Woodford!

Teams gathered during the busy festive season to dress up, test their festive knowledge and have a jolly good time!

With Lizard Lounge offering up some great christmas themed specials!

It was our 'double or nothing' rounds that influenced the winners the most this week, with a massive 78 points being racked up by 'Gin'gle All The Way. They won a £30 voucher!

Elsewhere, we saw Quiz Dingle feature in third place. The team of five whittled down to two for their team picture, but nonetheless good effort ladies!

Our £10 voucher for best team name prize went to '6 quizmas quizzers, 5 Essex girls,  4 stupid teachers, 3 for 2 on food, 2 for 1 on cocktails and a prize for the best team name!' for their festive effort.

Finally, unfamiliar runners up this week was One Fact Hunt and some family members at Christmas. They won a £20 voucher!

A quiz about... 2014! Sunday 28th December

Quizmaster Trivia is pleased to announce that we are hosting a big end of year pub quiz at Lizard Lounge in South Woodford on Sunday 28th December at 7:30pm!

The quiz will test players knowledge on a mix of questions about 2014, following our 30-question, 6-round format, with a round full of audio clips into the mix. It's a standard 'quiz for a quid' entry fee.

We'll be giving away £60 in vouchers and Lizard Lounge will be offering up their 3-4-2 deal on food dishes and 2-4-1 cocktails, which are extended until 10pm!

Call Elf + Safety, we've got some Shitty Pants!

Seven teams gathered in South Woodford at Lizard Lounge this week, as our penultimate quiz of the year got underway at 7:30pm.

Some new faces joined us this week at Lizard Lounge for our pub quiz, including The Vagina Dialogues, who finished up in third after losing out on sudden death! Unlucky guys...

And we saw The Whittlers take part, finishing with just 5 points. They had fun though!

Elsewhere, our best team name prize went to Shitty Pants! Demonstrating that apparently if you drink too much alcohol extraordinary things can happen. They won a £10 voucher for the name.

Returning to the quiz scene was Elf + Safety, in which two members of the team seemed to be dressed prematurely for next week's Christmas quiz at Lizard Lounge... (We encourage such festive outfits for next week's quiz by the way.) They won a £20 voucher with a score of 42 points!

Finally, the mighty Fact Hunts brought home the bacon again, as their haul of 45 points bagged them another win at the East London bar. The £30 voucher was all theirs...

They're just too good!

Things got festive at our pub quiz in South Woodford this week at Lizard Lounge geared up for the holidays with their Christmas tree and decorations around the bar!

Lizard Lounge were offering up their new christmas specials, including delicious Rum Punch and their burger of the month 'The Christmas Stuffing.'

Six teams gathered at the East London bar for another instalment of trivia, with £60 of vouchers up for grabs!

We saw familiar faces Is this score for real? Oh yes it quiz :) again this week, as they finished up in fifth with 26 points.

Newcomers Adam & Eve took our best team name prize, with a final score of 36 points. They won a £10 voucher!

The fivesome of Quiz on her face left before we could snap a picture of them, but still managed to rack up 29 points!

We did snap a picture of the returning Gin it to win it, who featured in second place two weeks ago and achieved the same feat this past Sunday. They won a £20 voucher!

The unstoppable Fact Hunts finished up with 47 points, winning a £30 voucher. They're just too good!
